Join us at the Market Theatre for an evening of festive fun and fundraising! Carols By Candlelight will feature our Infant, Junior and Senior cast, and ALL proceeds from the performance will go to Neuroendocrine Cancer UK. We are incredibly proud to have raised nearly £2000 for various charities over the last few years, and we would love to add to this total this year!!

Who are we fundraising for?

Neuroendocrine cancer is a rare and often misunderstood illness that starts in cells which help control hormones in the body. It can appear in places like the pancreas, lungs, or gut, and because symptoms are often vague or slow to show, it’s frequently diagnosed late. Some tumours release extra hormones that cause noticeable changes, while others grow quietly and are harder to spot. That’s why awareness, early diagnosis, and research are so important. This charity is incredibly close to our hearts at SD1, and through this fundraiser we’re determined to shine a light on a hidden disease, improve care, and support those affected.
