Join SD1's Senior Company for this festive treat of a play! Take a trip back in time to 1914 and 1957 with our Christmas production: ‘A Light In The Dark’, telling two stories for Christmas.

 

Act 1 tells the story of ‘The Christmas Truce’, where war stopped on Christmas Eve and soldiers of opposing sides shared gifts and played football for one peaceful night.

 

Act 2 advances to 1957, telling the story of a young pilot flying home, finding himself in peril when his radio and power cut out, leaving him stranded and running on limited fuel. Just when it appears his luck is about to run out, a mysterious good Samaritan guides him to safety.
